May be there is a check for the host version, that doesn't mean that these's any real difference, but that check is anough for the Virtual PC to not work. Cvolton Posted February 25, 2019 Share Posted February 25, 2019 Even if you bypass the check, your computer will just BSOD whenever you open VPC, due to the driver not being compatible. The only reason the Windows 8 mod was possible is that there's a Windows Mobile emulator based on VPC available for Windows 8, so ProgWare just took the driver out of that. There is no version of this for Windows 10 and the Windows 8 driver is incompatible. Is there any reason you need specifically VPC and can't do with VMWare or VirtualBox?
