Destro
We have a similar thread called XP spotter, where members can post pics of XP running in the wild. But.. I thought it would be fun to make a new thread where people can show off their own NT 5.1 and 5.2 systems running in the wild Purpose of this thread is just to create some more community involvement. XP running in VMware unity Mode on 2003 X64 Bit. Edited January 7, 2019 by Destro Added Info
FranceBB
My XP System, happily encoding files in XAVC Intra Class 300 for Broadcast usage, as well as HEVC BT2100 HDR10 PQ / HLG thanks to Avisynth, x264 and x265 all compatible with XP. It's an old config I used to have at work. If you wanna check the new Win10 config I have at work while I encode a 4K UHD in HEVC H.265 with 16bit interleaved precision, check here: Link Edited January 7, 2019 by FranceBB
finlandisgood
After a fresh install I'm still hunting down some drivers. Thankfully wifi worked after installing the driver, so everything else has been easier once I got internet access working on it. https://i.imgur.com/Uz5s3PD.png

FranceBB
Well, assuming that we still use that old plain text unencrypted chat with old protocols, yes, but we don't. We are old, not stupid xD
NojusK
Well i must be the last human being on this planet to run Windows Server 2003 as main server OS to host anything i need to. I've appilied a lot of tweaks, removed unneeded stuff to get MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE! Edited May 23, 2019 by Nojus2001
win32
@Nojus2001, you're definitely not alone. A weather forum I used to visit that closed sometime late last year or early this year was revealed to be running on Server 2003 until the bitter end. I'm sure that it's found itself mired into tonnes of big corporate networks too. It makes a wonderful workstation OS as well. And this is my 15-hour-old XP x64 install: : Edited May 24, 2019 by win32
