Windows limited to 2 GB RAM when installing video card

*Edit:
I have Windows XP with 3.5 GiB RAM
Until now I was with an integrated Ati video card without any problem.
I tried to install 2 PCI-e cards, one is Ati and the other Asus with chip Nvidea Gforce 7300 LE-HTD-256
With the Ati I have conflict issues with the drivers, since when installing them, the integrated drivers are also updated and, when Windows starts, it emits the blue screen unless I disable the integrated graphics card in the device manager.
So I decide to install the Nvidia.
But nothing else that I put it in the PCI-e slot when starting Windows says that I only have 2 GiB RAM, I tried to install the drivers and the result is the same.
I verify that in all Windows NT5 this card limits the RAM memory system to 2GiB, regardless of the installed memory.
In the BIOS I do not see any option to correct this except to disable the "Memory Remap Feature" option which increases the limit up to 2.6 GiB RAM
There is a solution?
The Nvidia video card have only 256 MiB VRAM, I do not know why it limits my RAM to 2 GiB
