Since the 1479 experimental release, I have experienced 0 crashes and system seems to run smoothly...as if it is taking no impact on performance (AG extension loader=0.2MB/DWM=22MB) Thanks for the hard work bigmuscle and looking forward to the final release (Ha...final, that is the wrong word. It'll never be final because MS keeps jacking it up) ...but thanks for the continuing efforts towards the game of cat-and-mouse. I made similar observations in my test-VM, this version is great! 1
Pjertan Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 (edited) Noticed this Aero Peek bug: the aero peek (when moving cursor to lower right corner of desktop) does not show the (position of) window correctly and/or completely. The "peek windows" are moved to the left and cut off. If I have several windows open they are all cut off at the same position on the left side of the desktop. EDIT: animated gif doesn't seem to work - attached the two screenshots. EDIT2: spelling Edited October 20, 2018 by Pjertan
bigmuscle Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Pjertan: I know what you mean, but could you try without Aero Glass? I noticed that winver 1809 always shows some weird graphics there.

UCyborg Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Aero Peek is broken since 1803. Somehow running Aero Glass on 1803 fixes it. I tried asking @bigmuscle about it in the other thread, but didn't get any response.
NoelC Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 (edited) Aero Glass 1.5.9.1479 working very solidly for me here with a reasonably well-tweaked Win 10 v1809 (with no Apps). I've noticed the performance seems better than with past debug versions. Big Muscle, did you add some optimization? Whatever you did, thanks; it's quite pleasant to work with. Thank you,. https://Noel.ProDigitalSoftware.com/ForumPosts/Win10/17763/Win10DesktopWithAG.png -Noel Edited November 17, 2018 by NoelC 1
bigmuscle Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 No, there are no intended optimizations except that the default buffer sizes are a little bit larger. But the rendering goes through a little bit different paths on v1809 so maybe it has an impact. 1
Semtex Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Hello @bigmuscle,how do You think, it is stable enough to release as stable? Best regards 1

jateruy Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 17763.194, Anyone experiencing weird dwm crashing when minimizing and restoring sticky note or iTunes? It only happens on my PC with NVIDIA dGPU, not iGPUs. Attaching link to debug log and dump file. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/3r0jvrcddr0i8uh/AeroGlass.zip?dl=0
Commander238 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) Hi, I have found a weird bug. Windows 10 Pro 64bit 10.0.17763.194 Integrated graphic card: Intel UHD Graphics 620 AeroGlass v1.5.10 Almost every time i press ALT+TAB between Photoshop CS3 10.0.1 and another app, for example the web browser, DWM crashes. A black screen shows up for 1 second and then all windows get repainted. It doesn't happen any longer, if I uninstall AeroGlass. Debug.log Edited December 12, 2018 by Commander238
bigmuscle Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Please, could you verify it on the previous beta - http://glass8.eu/beta?file=rs5_17763_1479_x64dbg.7z and if it behaves incorrectly too, could you provide generated minidump file (from this beta, not from 1.5.10 release!) ?

Happens when the user session is closed (log off, shutdown, ...). And what does the exception code 0xe0464645 mean?

Yes, the beta behaves incorrectly too. Here is the log and some dumps from the beta. I alt-tabbed 4 times and after that, the aeroglass didn't load at all. (Is it intended to unload after 4 subsequent crashes within in 1 minute?) BTW while pressing alt-tab, the tabbing window does not even show up. The crash occurs even when I switch using my mouse. https://mega.nz/#!kosV2KBK!XgKKeH3dgjXt73RWru4NM2HnjCwzA36chgcvnpYynn4 Debug.log
