Windows Forum Captcha Issue

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to register on this forum:

https://www.windowsforum.org/

I'm hoping there may be someone who's a member here.  When I sign up and complete the nCaptcha procedure (aren't they a pain?), I'm told that I did not pass the Security Check.  After several attempts (which I've done correctly, I contact the board admin (er, well that was the plan) - see, sending them a message also requires me to also complete nCaptcha.  It also fails, and I'm nowhere ahead.

Is there anyone here who is also a member of the board there?  I just want to try it out.  I'm finding the DM Windows Forums a tad too Windows 10-centric.  Even their Windows 8 Forum have too many Windows 10 related topics (migration, etc....).

What browser and addons are you using? Also, I see that they're using ReCAPTCHA.

I just see the "are you a robot" thing. Often I have had problems with that type if it ever goes into the second phase where it asks you to choose pictures. You need to enable scripting for that domain or it will just say your browser isn't supported.

I've tried IE9 and Roytam1's New Moon x64.  I've disabled uBlock Origin.  I have no script blocking or anything like that.  I will try it on Puppy Linux and see how it goes.  I have Pale Moon on there.

I meant reCPATCHA.  Thanks for the correction.
