I'm setting up this page for anyone to post related feedback and/or bugs:
Many of us now have an incentive to upgrade to the latest Spring Creators Update!
I'm looking forward to test-driving this new build very soon!
Many thanks again!  -JT

I'm on the new Win10 build 17133. I replaced the previous version DWMGlass.dll with the updated DWMGlass.dll and did regsvr32 on it.
I also deleted the old symbols files and sym_load got me new ones. The aerohost.exe seems untouchable, but does not appear to load on startup for me like it used to.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I just wait until a full and installable release?

I find that major windows updates usually break windows.  I usually uninstall them before doing the update, then reinstall it (Even though its broke) and immediately copy/paste the dwmglass.dll file over top (right after I've installed it).

Check task scheduler to see if it is still  in there.

Looks Like Microsoft has now bumped/pushed another W10 v1803 build 17134.  Apparently, this build is the expected new Release Candidate and is identical to 17133 except that it fixes a particular BSOD crashing issue. Fast ring Insiders have the new build now, and it should trickle out to Slow and Release Preview rings shortly.

@bigmuscle Can you let us know if the latest AeroGlass experimental build v1303 is still valid for this new build?

-JT

The experimental build works for 17134 as it does for 17133.

I guess it works fine.  I just booted into 17134 to see if it worked, but I don't use that build.  I always use RS5.

For me it doesn't work, if i do classic install then swap the dll, it's already in use on Safe Mode too. If i do the zip install then swap + task, doesn't load/nor downloads the symbols. I might be doing something wrong at some points, long night after clean reinstall. I'll try again in a couple of days.

Are you using the new RS4 v17134 ?

Successfully loaded AeroGlass in build 17134.1, note that in order to load it properly you must have the latest symbols and click "Cancel" instead of "Retry" in the AeroGlass for Win8.1+ Incompatibility issue window.

Bug report:

This version of AeroGlass seems unstable for me sometimes, most often it freezes my laptop screen when I interact with Chrome (and sometimes Discord) and I always have to re-enable the screen to unfreeze it by reopening the lid (sleep is disabled while plugged in, or else it'll be a pain to wait for the laptop to sleep and wake it up again) and on very rare occasions it displayed a kernel panic-like glitch on the display and i had to restart the machine to fix it.

Also tested AeroGlass on UWP apps, the back button from the titlebar is missing only in UWP apps with fluent design and all apps make a white block closing transition (same thing goes for some flyouts like battery, network, sound, etc... including the action center and the switch between virtual desktops transition).

Lastly, Timeline lags when I'm using multiple displays.

So yeah, so far I found those bugs.

EDIT: It seems that the screen freeze bug caused by Chrome and/or Discord is not caused by AeroGlass rather than Windows itself, Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working on a fix which will be available on May 8 (aka Patch Tuesday). This version of AeroGlass just triggers that bug more frequently.

Nope, doesn't work for me, it loads once, then in the next restart nada. Debug log shows it's being loaded though. I have no debug window.

It will surely not work correctly if user bypasses the startup notification dialog.

Which startup notification dialog? :| It doesn't load. Or if it's about the  incompat, i pressed Cancel just like @lolylol said. Though pressing Retry pops up same dialogue. Gonna retry tonight and note the steps.
