Have in my VM started a test of Windows Live Mail and could not find any problems under Windows XP sp3, with updated status from July 2018, where the modified update KB4134651-v2 is used. A precise information of the error message would be an advantage.

Update:

Maybe it helps

Sorry, something unexpected happened and Window Live Mail must close. Your most recent changes may not have been saved.

Just did a clean install with SP4 slipstreamed. Install Windows Live Mail and it was working. No errors. After updating 80 posready updates it broke. Now I have to find which update broke WLM. I'm leaning towards .NET updates.
