I switched from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail but can't get pass the error Quote Sorry. Something unexpected happened and Windows Live Mail must close. There are Proleme in this update with the file oleaut32.dll, which in your case might also have an effect. A precise information of the error message would be an advantage. The exact error message is Quote Sorry, something unexpected happened and Window Live Mail must close. Your most recent changes may not have been saved. I am using SP4 if that makes any difference. In his list he point 60 updates (No superseded) until july 2018. When I replaced the file, I was presented with these updates. I installed them and replaced only oleaut32.dll from heinoganda KB4134651-v2.
