Beau H.
Hello Windows 7 gurus, I am considering switching to Windows 7 64-Bit and I am looking through windows versions and I found the following; Starter Home Basic Home Premium Professional Ultimate Enterprise Now then, I am already ruling out Starter and Home Basic, frankly, they are crap. For a decent PC anyway. For making VMs, designing websites, using Discord. Office 2016. What do you recommend? Have a good one.

Dibya
If You want best out of money get Home Premium or Pro is bit overkill if arent in office domain like network . Get HomePremium , Apply Sp1/Platform update / Other updates , Apply BlackViper safe service tweaks All your needed apps until 2020! @jaclaz By the way my full name is Dibyamartanda Samanta not Monsieur de La Palice if required I can write Hindi/Bangla/Japanese/CHT/CHS[I know no more language ]
jaclaz
Yep , I was highlighting your abillity in writing truisms in English. @Beau H. https://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/article/386085/windows_7_home_premium_vs_windows_7_professional/ And, for the record, most of what is "missing" in Professional can be obtained using third party tools, jaclaz
Beau H.
I'd probably go for Ultimate, maybe. Haven't decided. I need Hyper V so please take that into account @jaclaz Thanks for your help. Beau H.

To get it you'd have to install either Server 2008 R2 or any Windows version past 8, Pro edition.
