ruthan Posted December 7, 2017 Share Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) Hello, i managed to get working Broadcom 5721 PCI-E Gigabit in my machines, but there some problem with this card, which is blocking automatic reset (stuck at Windows logo) from Startmenu.. Im fine with not working automatic Shutdown - due to APM etc.. but reset usually working with my machines and this card blocking it - tested with multiple machine, without this card they were reseting fine.. Could someone fix that? otherwise is card great everywhere from Win98 to Win7 and Linux. Edited December 7, 2017 by ruthan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Destro Posted December 7, 2017 Share Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) Could be because the card isn't complying to ACPI. The only fix for that maybe is to not run ACPI. It's impossible to fix unless someone else has the same card and hardware as you and just happened to be able to fix it. But I would recommend turning off ACPI and see if that doesn't work.
