Hi, I'm new here.

There's a weird problem happening today. which a error appears while updating virus definition for Microsoft Security Esssentials, This problem didn't happen on April 30 2017.

But when i came to log in today, I wanted to use XP 64-bit OS, which is dualbooted to 7. And This error appears:

Although Is there's a automatic updater? because automatic updating seems to be not working, and i click Update button and gets Stuck on searching.

The Microsoft support article says to uninstall MSE, then install latest version:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2635095/error-0x80070645-appears-when-you-try-to-upgrade-microsoft-security-es

The latest version for Windows XP is  4.4.304. You'll either need to try the 32-bit or 64-bit version: http://sdfox7.com/xp/sp3/EOL/mse/

At this point Microsoft doesn't really support XP anymore for MSE, I would recommend Avast Free if you can't get this working. Avast is highly reputable: https://www.avast.com/windows-antivirus

I did, nothing works. because i'm using XP 64-bit, i just want to solve the 0x80090326 error.

And i want a Automatic updater if there's. (Sorry for my bad english)

With Microsoft no longer supporting XP, it's likely that they will eventually (or already have) introduced function or code that will break compatibility with XP. They no longer support it, so they will no longer test it against XP for compatibility.

Have you tried the Vista/7 installer? Will they install or run on XP 64?

Yes tried it and of course it doesn't work. 4.4.304 is the latest version for XP.

I can download the manual definitions and update the virus definition by myself. So i need a program to update the definitions for XP 64-bit.

And i read the Microsoft security essentials and windows xp thread. and there's a program but it doesn't work for xp 64-bit
