Satoshi8
Hi, In order to update Powershell 2, WMF 4.0 & 5.0 is necessary right? WMF 5.1 was also released apparently. so in order to be up-to-date, do I have to install WMF 4.0>WMF5.0>WMF 5.1 or is WMF 5.1 culmulative to both 4 & 5? Mcinwwl
WMF 4 updates to Powershell 4 WMF 5 Updates to Powershell 5 While your old cmdlets will get updated to their newest standard, keep in mind that some newer cmdlets require system elements of Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 in order to be run and won't be visible. as about WMF 5.1, all your questions are resolved below: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/wmf/5.1/release-notes So it seems it's enough to install WMF 5.1 over WMF 4.0 OR WMF 5.0. Not both.
