Does Windows 8 not have "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support"? I opened “Turn Windows features on or off” to find that option and I don't see it.

neither my win7 had it on list, but it has
disable it via registry, cmd and power shell

Where is that option in the registry and powershell? Whats the command in the command prompt?

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters]
"SMB1"=dword:00000000

sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb20/nsi
sc.exe config mrxsmb10 start= disabled

google for powershell, i don't have it so don't use it

There is a patch for the WannaCry issue for Windows 8 (even for Windows XP!) even if it isn't offered by Windows Update (not to me at least): KB4012598 (This is for 64 bit Windows, for 32 bit Windows just change the id number in the URL from 55249 to 55246).
