submix8c
I stumbled across this. It actually works on (at least) XP/2K3 (down to 98?). You have to get it from Wayback since it's history. http://web.archive.org/web/20031204203221/http://www.nizuxsoft.com/download.html Right-click a folder, change date/time for all three, recurse the folder and include all of the files/folders. I went crazy messing with "touch" and found this to be more convenient. It does more than date/time, but I haven't tested it for the other functions. Tested on XP and 2003 x86. No clue if it works on x64, so you're on your own (and it may break your system without manual install to WOW). I like it! So there (nya-nya)! Give it a try, if you have a need for such an item. Beats the heck out of Attribute Magic ($) and (as stated) more convenient than "touch" (unless you need to do batch). EDIT - Forgot to mention - there's no expiration date and fully functional shareware. Edited April 13, 2017 by submix8c
jaclaz
NewFileTime: http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Microsoft/NewFileTime (up to 2.71) is explicitly Win98 compatible: https://web.archive.org/web/20161130142021/http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Microsoft/NewFileTime BUT the SAME version page has been later changed with Win9x not mentioned anymore https://web.archive.org/web/20170120060612/http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Microsoft/NewFileTime Maybe even the current version is still 98 compatible unless of course in the course of making it working in Windows 10 they ruined it. jaclaz
