keithy397
Hi. I'm not sure this is entirely a Win 10 problem but it does seem I've only had this problem since installing it. As you can see by the attached pic something ain't right! I'm not sure how it's happened but I've run out of ideas now. The text appears visible in the pic through the black block but it isn't visible on my PC. Any help removing the problem would really be appreciated. vinifera
so basically titlebar text is white colored as your window frames these things were usually controled within skin itself (.msstyle) dunno if winblows 10 has any decoys
keithy397
I would have thought if text was white coloured it wouldn't be so visible rather than create it's own 'blocks'. Previous to the 'blocks', the text had a line through it with small vertical lines either end of the horizontal one then about a month ago the lines were replaced by what you can see now. I feel pretty sure I haven't changed anything so how this is seemingly happening by itself is beyond me. I don't know when precisely they started to appear but it was after I installed Win 10 about June last year.
Tripredacus
Do you have any software installed that can make changes to how Windows appearance works, anything that adds transparency, start menu replacer or add skins to the UI?
keithy397
The magic word was 'transparency', thank you!! You reminded me I had Aero Glass installed from a while back. Just removed it and all the crap has gone! Thanks Tripredacus.
