thecavern Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Hi, Lately when I try to rename a document my document folder freezes up. Microsoft website has a HotFix 980382 that's suppose to fix this problem. I went on and requested a copy by giving them my email address. They said it would take about 15 minutes to send it. Tripredacus Posted April 16, 2016 Share Posted April 16, 2016 It would just be to rule out any potential "list" issue or filtering. It could be that your email host is filtering the email out as spam, or that Microsoft won't send to that domain because it is on a blacklist. thecavern Posted May 9, 2016 Author Share Posted May 9, 2016 So I requested the Hotfix and tried it. It didn't work at all. I downloaded it again two more times over a few days to make sure I was getting the correct fix. Once again those they didn't work to fix the problem. They both seem to be some kind of "Zip" or "Unzip" program. So I'm back where I started. The Hotfix from Microsoft is bogus.
