slatz
Have not been here for a few years, wasn't even sure if I remembered my creds to get in. lolNeed help on where to start. Want to create my own Win 10 install images complete with updated driver packs, add on applications etc, just like I was doing in winxp. Where do I start? Is there a getting started thread I am not seeing? Thanks
kmaheshkumar
just a small difference you need to mount wim using dism and integrate (hotfixes or drivers or any but not applications) them to that mount point and unmount it using commit application install is same as earlier
Tripredacus
The starting point would be to determine how you are doing to be deploying images. There are manual methods, using MDT, or the new thing: Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer. It would be helpful if you had some experience in deploying and servicing WIM supported OSes like Vista, 7, 8, 2008, 2012, etc because it isn't the same as XP. Either way, your first step is going to be downloading and installing the ADK for Windows 10.
