vinifera Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 i tried to find a way to do it via cmdbut all I found is for higher versions with this command:FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-*8.*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /quiet /norestart"but even if cmd shows sucess, after reboot, IE is still therenothing changes... is there alternate way via CMD ? harkaz Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 It is possible to tweak the package registry so dism can remove the system files.This will: -Revert Explorer to Windows 95 experience-Not remove files in sxs.
