In the new build of windows 10 the watermark for the aero still appears in full screen mode of videos: http://i.imgur.com/coMwW14.jpg Are you guys working on a fix or what?

I think its intentional in debug builds for it to be applied to all DirectX surfaces, which would include video players using DXVA rendering. Even paying users have it (except for dhjohns) based on what I've read as well. It probably won't go away until the stable version is out.

You could try setting your video player to use software rendering instead and not DXVA and I suspect it won't show the watermark unless a GDI object is overlayed over the video.

Even the RDP client it shows, because RDP uses a Direct3D rectangle to render the remote session. So I am pretty sure its intended functionality in debug builds for it to inject the watermark onto all Direct3D and maybe Direct2D surfaces.

Or enable subtitles in your video player and have it match the font of the watermark, then after awhile you will probably get use to it and just subconsciously feel that its part of the movie or TV show.

Yeah, I have that too. Transparency somehow survived, but there's no blur and no window borders. Looks kinda cool actually :) -- until you overlay one window over another and then you can't tell what's what or where the window control buttons are.

I'll wait and see what bigmuscle has in store in the way of an official Aero Glass version for 10586. I'm confident that he can handle it.

Is anyone having any issues where blur is not applied in 10586 RTM? Even using GUI has no effect.

I understand that there is no working version for 10586...that is not the issue.  I accept that it takes a while for a new version to be released after an OS build release.  My question was to find out if others are having the same issue regarding blur or if it was just something specific to my machine.  It was a process of elimination question.  Be that as it may...I'm still using it and I don't expect any miracles to happen so soon after an OS update.  Anyway...keep up the good work bigmuscle...regardless of blur working or not, I still appreciate your efforts being put into this little gem of software.

If they didn't have the retarded watermark in there in the first place, then this wouldn't be a problem at all. Having to install a tweak to get the operating system to a point of "almost acceptable" is bad enough; having to tweak the tweak is just ridiculous.

Watermark when watching movies at SMPlayer missing only in settings to rendering instead DirectX it is OpenGl

FYI, your version 491 for build 10586 seems to work fine with a 10586 system recently upgraded from 10240.

I seem to be losing the will to keep updating my theme atlas, though (for now I'm using your Win 10 RP atlas and just calling it a day).

No doubt I could make my prior atlas graphic work with the proper .layout file, but even just taking the time to create that is turning out to be more work than I want to do.  Microsoft's strategy to wear us down is working.  The excitement about a new version of Windows is gone.

The theme layout in 10586 is something which I do not understand at all. Or I do not see any sense in it. Graphics are totally same, their dimensions are totally same, just the control mapping has been changed. For this reason, you can simply use old layouts, you just need to change control numbers for caption buttons/glyphs.

EDIT: Got it. TH2 now uses different images when light or dark color is used. If you set light color for the captions, old layout will work. For dark colors, you need remapping.
