John Smithwe
@Tihiy Hi, is it possible to integrate the SIB with aero glass, as it was in windows 8?
tistou77
@Tihiy Since the last version, I have a file "appsfolder.dat" which is created in AppData\Local\StartIsBack\Cache Is this due to a "new option" ? Is it better to install SIB in AppData ? Thanks

If I change the Start Menu style in Settings, the user account picture returns, but only until next restart, then it's back to solid white. Can you show screenshot? It can be only black on white or white on black and that change went to 2.9.
ender`
Here it is: Oh, and locking and unlocking the computer makes the image come back. Also, 2.9 did not have this problem. Edited April 26, 2020 by ender`
ender`
Hm. could this be DPI-related? My primary display is set to 225%, secondary to 175%, and I just noticed that if I open Start Menu on my secondary display, the picture appears, and afterwards it also appears on the primary display. Tihiy
Yes, this issue is related to DPI. However this issue was resolved in 2.9.0 and there were no userpicture changes in 2.9.1.
ender`
Well, I definitely didn't have this problem in 2.9.0 (nor before that) - for me it's new in 2.9.1.

At installation, the only choice is to install it in Program Files (x86) (for all users, UAC disabled) Thanks
JFX
On WinPE SIB 2.9.1 crashes. The RoGetActivationFactory() for "Windows.Internal.Tiles.TileStore" is failing and there is no error handling.

1337ftw
I was wondering how you implemented the UseWin32TrayClockExperience support. Could you give some info on how that works, cause I thought that they completely removed the old clock menu..
