leoliver
I have the 64 bit Win Vista SP2 computer. When I'm in IE9, and I click on a link, a web-page in Firefox, which is my default browser, opens up. This is making it almost impossible to update and verify, the different versions of Adobe Flash Player. When I click on run and install it goes to FireFox which dosen't use active x.And making other problems when I want to stay in IE while browsing. This never happened in my old Win XP Pro Sp3 computer. But I like Vista and want it to work for me.Any suggestions ? Thanks.
submix8c
Firefox uses a PlugIn. IE uses an ActiveX.Go to Adobe Flash Download, get the latest, and install it.Flash is now (AFAICR) a "combo" installer that includes both.https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ BTW, since you have FF as "default" yep, you *will* open links in it instead of IE. When you pick one as Default, you can't use either/or *unless" you flip/flop the "default" as necessary. *Or*, right-click the link, get the address, then past it in the IE (or FF) Address Bar and GO!
