Keyboard / Mouse activity monitor

It's not what you may be thinking... "keylogger," but relatively similar I suppose.

 

I'm looking for a piece of software that can monitor, not record, keyboard and mouse input.

 

I've located Passmark KeyboardTest but the application does is not capable of monitoring input devices while its in the background. I have to visually see the events as they're being processed. I believe what I'm looking for is some type of emulator that virtualizes the keystrokes and macros from mouse buttons.

AutoIt AU3Record, I think think this would work good, but there seems to be no way to wrap the characters. Would anyone happen to know how to resolve the text wrapping?
