battery mode still does not work for me - no difference to taskbar with power cable removed - can someone confirm either way - may well be something i am running - would like to know and i can investigate

the taskbar is transparent in w10 from the start, you rather have to look at the title bars of the windows and stuff...

nothing changes on the screen when i unplug the power lead

So another development build is coming...

Build is intended for debugging and testing purposes only

By the way, is this build also inclusive of Windows 8.1?  I haven't tried it on my Win 8.1 VM but I could if that would be helpful to you.

Just for reference, Aero Glass doesn't use measurably more battery power than if it's not running.

and for further reference i know that and do not want it for that - its a useful feature to tell me if the power lead has come out or is not fully in

the problem is not Glass it's the GUI.

I checked the registry since I had on in my my WIn8.1 as well.

in fact a while ago (to be exact version 1.3.0 on win8.1) you set the new default for Glass on Battery to that it wont disable (see your changelog), and instead of setting the reg setting explicitly to 1 it just deletes the value, in other wordsyou version of the GUI assumes the default to "disable it" and therefore it has problems with the "newer" versions of glass...

so @adacom go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/DWM (if the DWM key doesnt exist just create it) and then create a 32-bit value "DIsableGlassOnBattery" and set it to 1.

@bm the best way would be assuming nothing at all and just setting the value no matter whether or not it's the default.

So another development build is coming...

It contains multi-monitor and stability fixes.

Win8 CP atlas file replaced with Win8 RP atlas file.

Added build numbering so you can check which build you are now using.

We are hopefully very close to final release now. Just a few small things are remaining.

Link for download is on my website.

Build is intended for debugging and testing purposes only. Do NOT use on production environment of if you don't accept software conditions.

I like that idea of yours adding build number to the debug window.

I just updated the aeroglass. It still running good for me. But I do only have a laptop so not much can go wrong with that. Also I wish there was a way to make the Windows Start Menu, battery info, Volume bar, WIFI list, Notification Centre, and clock/calendar clear blur like I can do with the explorer title bar and taskbar

Hello, I just installed 32-bit+64-bit (Updated on 14th August 2015) on an installation clean (build 10240 64-bit) and this is what I get:

1439600562-aero.png

I would like to know If this is normal At this stage of development or if I forget something ?

Thank you for your work Mr BM and good luck for the work you have before you !

Uninstall aeroglass and install it again and this time during installing make sure to uncheck those. As it made for Windows 8.1
