Drones (and Robots)

Look like any industry if you participate, you help it grow. If your worried about this nonsense that is your fault. Personally I have arrangement. Get a gun, build your fence higher then an basketball court. Build an basketball court. So when you see a drone in your Air-space you can launch those kamikazi bills at it.

Another idea. Since we are all techi-minded folks. There is no law against creating an no-radio zone in your own backyard, or house. Without any radio communications the drones will not be able to do anything but fly by until it picks up again. You could even install installation inside your housing and screw wireless all together.

Honestly if you do not like the things, then do not purchase them. Just ignore the entire industry together. Look at VHS tapes. They were so perfect and humble. Thanks to Discs we have destroyed home video forever. If artist never used DVD then the only person making them would be Disney and some Porn Agency. Think about it. We screwed all the good consumers over with DVD.

Launch WHAT? :w00t:

For those I believe this device would come handy:

As a matter of fact that would be a serious crime in most western countries, as technically it would imply a signal jammer whose effects cannot really be confined in private areas.

It would be easier and safer to move to - say - Green Bank, West Virginia:

(you will also need a diesel car ;))

Honestly if you do not like the things, then do not purchase them. Just ignore the entire industry together.

That could be an idea, the point is if we should go back to Roman Empire times or earlier.

Yep, that is more or less what happened in the early days with laser discs:

Think about it. We screwed all the good consumers over with DVD.

But then this nice thingy would have never been invented :

... and not so surprisingly....

http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_tense/2015/09/10/california_gov_jerry_brown_vetoes_bill_to_stop_drones_from_flying_over_private.html

On Wednesday, California Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed a drone-regulation bill that, according to many tech company lobbyists, would have had a ruinous effect on the state’s burgeoning mini-robot-spyplane industry. The bill, which passed the state Assembly by a vote of 56-13 and the state Senate by a vote of 21-12, would have banned low-flying drones from traversing private property without consent of the landowner. “Drone technology certainly raises novel issues that merit careful examination,” wrote Brown in his official veto message. “This bill, however, while well-intentioned, could expose the occasional hobbyist and the FAA-approved commercial user alike to burdensome litigation and new causes of action. Before we go down that path, let’s look at this more carefully.”

I am tired of all of this living in fear nonsense. Reason USA is going to war is out of racism. That is all. Those Iraq was much more stable and happier then they are now. I see footage of apartment building under fire. It is stupid. I am sorry to mention this but I see the dumbfounded world for what it is. I just want to leave this world. We have super criminal babies ( been around since the end of WW2 ) ruining the world for everybody, getting caught up with the law. It is horrible. I have to make this introductory to this post and many because it is horrible.

The truth is that we are going to see a flying car real soon. Most of these Drones are designed for that specific purpose. Every moron and Genius on this forum knows those UFO crop circles was the USA testing drone technology. Same with the Russian photographs. They are going make a bunch of dickless rules and screw everybody over the process. I already know what this garbage is going to look like.

First we get the population down to a small amount. Then we make bigger roads. Finally it is flying car city, just like in "Back to the future". That is people. These toy drones already look like R.C. Cars and racers and operates the same way. That is it people, as I mentioned about

the flying car in another thread ( to be revived ) we will see it soon. Trust me on that.

This world is so retarded it might end up like "Narnia" or even "Phantasy Star Online". Go read the beginning of Narnia intro to the White Witch and view the introductory to Phantasy Star.

The only things we could do with drones is just fly them at high sky rates and take exHD pictures and go wow I did that. Before that I could go through a hole in a fence to a closed off area and take pictures of things only bums and gang members would see.

Drones = Flying car. All we need is to build a super-size version of any miniture drone and enable it to carry four passengers, and 200LBs of luggage. Each person could be 200LBs the maximum. 1000LBs not including the extra light material, which will most likely be fiberglass composite.

You could build a flying car out of old boat parts. Most likely an all terrain vehicle the most. Thanks to manhanttanzation ( hitting your small town, or small nation soon ) we will not have real use for it. If your in an small nation right now that uses renewable sources of fuel you could

probably have use for such vehicle.

You all should checkout the all-multi-purpose vehicle of "Beyond Good and Evil". It is amazing. Again

Drone = Flying car. All the same rules and regulations for the flying car is being made by the drones. Again those "Close encounters" from the WW2 days was all tests for UFO/Drones. Same thing no magical about that unless you count TUBES ( those things that might be fairies ).

Money is just another form of Racism. It keeps people down

I have been off dopamine since 2004 law got activated during 2012. I have my illustration to replace the dopamine. Not the same but

gives me something to look forward to. I miss dopamine it was stronger then any coffee and I was looking healthy. Government does not want people being happy at all. I tasted the fresh grape like fruits and I do not want to go back to tap water. I miss dopamine. Again my

illustration effort is what keeps me going.

I thought this was interesting ... this is all done by one person once they are launched.

50 Drones Controlled at Once in a Record-Breaking Swarm

https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn28173-watch-50-drones-controlled-at-once-in-a-record-breaking-swarm/

Daily News - 15 September 2015

Up, up and away. A team at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, has succeeded in launching 50 drones that were all controlled by a single person.

“To our knowledge, this is a world record for the number of UAVs under single operator control, by quite a long way,” says project lead Kevin Jones.

The team aims to develop swarming behaviours that give the benefits of having multiple drones without the need for a large number of operators.

The Zephyr drones they used are custom-made, largely from hobby parts, and cost about $2000 each. Getting so many into the air at once was challenging because they cannot be hand-launched like some smaller drones.

“For larger flying wings the hand-launch process posed a significant risk to the hand launching it,” says Jones.

After experimenting with bungee power, students developed a chain-driven launcher that can fire off the drones in quick succession.

At present, the pre-flight safety checks limit launches to one every 30 seconds, but Jones thinks that they should be able to cut that to 10 seconds or less. He says that they may also build a second launcher, as there is no reason why the swarm has to be launched one at a time.

Swarm signals

Once in the air, the drones communicated with each other via a system that uses high-powered Wi-Fi rather than conventional drone-communication systems, which would be swamped by the overlapping signals. The launch also gave an opportunity to test swarming algorithms with real drones rather than simulations. “Most of the swarming operations are things like ‘follow-me’ mode, where one or more UAVs follow a leader around the sky,” says Jones. This allows the whole swarm to be moved without directing the aircraft individually. There are also algorithms for search-and-rescue operations, in which the flight pattern resembles that of foraging bees. “The swarm behaviour looks quite random as the aircraft move around the sky trying to optimally search an area in the shortest amount of time,” says Jones.

Here it comes ... it was bound to happen someday with all the close encounters around airports and houses. I wonder one day if a person has a tiny insect drone ... will that also have to be registered?

This is where a good flamethrower would come in handy ... it might set the whole neighborhood on fire but it should destroy the drone.

U.S. Will Require Drones to Be Registered

Oct 16 2015

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/u-s-will-require-drones-be-registered-n446266

The federal government will announce a new plan requiring anyone buying a drone to register the device with the U.S. Department of Transportation, NBC news has learned.

The government has been concerned about the rise in close calls between unmanned drones and aircraft flying into and out of some of the nation's biggest airports. The plan is expected to be announced Monday.

In July, there was a dangerously close encounter between a drone and a passenger jet with 159 people aboard setting up to land at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The unmanned aerial vehicle was just 100 feet away from the passenger jet at an altitude of 1,700 feet; normal safe separation distance is between aircraft is at least 1,000 feet.

Private drones were also blamed for hampering aerial firefighting efforts over a California blaze in July.

Firefighting aircraft trying to attack the fast-moving blaze in the Cajon Pass had to leave the area for around 20 minutes over safety concerns, officials said. The fire swept over a busy freeway and torched 20 vehicles.

Under the plan, the government would work with the drone industry to set up a structure for registering the drones, and the regulations could be in place by Christmas.

Last week, the Federal Aviation Administration proposed a $1.9 million fine against Chicago drone company SkyPan, which was alleged to have flown dozens of unauthorized flights over Chicago and New York since 2012.

Remember not too long ago when the whole drone thing was just really getting started ... all the discussion of the good and bad with drones.

So spying and intrusion seem to be the thing ... none of us want to be spied on. I wonder what rights a person has to destroy a drone hovering over their property. I thought I read a few months ago someone was arrested for destroying a drone that was either flying over their property or spying through a window.

"Drones are set to be must-have Christmas presents this year. Many cost as little as £40 and have the ability to shoot clear and downloadable footage."

Shock Rise in Sex Pests Filming Brit Couples from the Sky

CREEPY peeping toms across Britain are taking to the skies with drones to film randy couples romping – without the stars of their film ever knowing.

29th October 2015

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/472715/Shock-rise-in-sex-pests-filming-horny-Brit-couples-from-the-sky

Official figures have seen the number of reports of nuisance flying – which includes suspected voyeurism – skyrocket over the past year.

One police force has logged 20 times more incidents than the year before.

Across the UK drones equipped with video cameras are perving on sunbathers, hovering outside windows and hanging above children's parks.

Worse still a Daily Star Online investigation has found illicit candid clips, including intimate moments between couples, are being shared on porn websites online millions of pervs.

Drones are set to be must-have Christmas presents this year. Many cost as little as £40 and have the ability to shoot clear and downloadable footage.

But sex experts are warning that in the wrong hands the flying gizmos are simply another way for peeping toms to gather candid clips for their sexual gratification.

One website we found celebrates "hunting for girls using the most advanced geek technology. It's a must have toy for all geeks in the world".

It adds: "We developed our usage for porn and it's going to be something you have never seen before! "Using drones to hunt for girls. Welcome to voyeurism 2.0 baby!"

John O’Neill, director of the Menninger sex-addiction clinic in Houston, told the Daily Star Online the problem will only get worse.

He said: "Someone with an interest in voyeurism may use a drone to find new material to satisfy their urges or needs.

"There have already been examples of people calling the police due to concerns about drones in their area public beaches.

"It makes sense that a person with a voyeuristic disorder would seek out new and exciting methods for obtaining sexual images such as drone technology.

"We live in a world where people have a wide variety of fetishes, and certainly technology allows people to explore them.

"Drones absolutely open up a new world of opportunity for voyeurs as well as stalkers to seek out new material to feed their interest."

Mr O'Neill said he believes "it is a reality that images obtained through drone technology will be viewed via the Internet".

He added: "There are thousands of websites dedicated to voyeurism and a strong market for new and exciting images or videos.

"If there is a market for sexual images, there are people willing to meet the demand."

Already drones have allowed legitimate filmmakers to shoot porn from never seen before angles.

One of these is Ghost+Cow Films who are credited with making the first adult movie called Drone Boners. Made using the mini-aircraft. which has won plaudits from mainstream critics for its camerawork.

But a spokesman for the company warns that illegal voyeurs are now in the sky preying on unsuspecting victims.

He said: "It's already a problem. If you can shoot something digitally and it exists as a digital file, it can be put all over the web."

In the past year there has been an explosion of reported suspicious activity involving what are essentially remote controlled flying cameras.

The Metropolitan Police (Met) has seen a huge rise in reports of nuisance drone flying, logging 21 cases in 2015, up from just one the previous year.

Sinister reports logged by call handlers include one person becoming alarmed at being spying on through their window.

Another was reported to police for repeatedly flying outside windows in a hotel area in the capital's West End.

Worryingly, some dialled 999 over a drone buzzing over a children's play area.

Currently it is illegal to fly the drone within 50m of a person or any crowd of people. If used by voyeurs it could be prosecuted under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, although this has yet to happen.Greater Manchester Police alone has logged 58 incidents since early last year.

In one a drone sex pest was reported videoing someone in the city sunbathing on three occasions.

In neighbouring Liverpool drones were also repeatedly reported film over playgrounds.

Meanwhile down south naked sunbathers on the famous Studland nudist beach in Dorset are furious that a radio-controlled drone equipped with a camera is often seen flying up and down videoing.

Met Chief Inspector Nick Aldworth, one of Britain's most senior police officers, has personally taken charge of dealing with the problem.

"Is it conceivable we’ll have these things, particularly the ones with cameras, hovering outside people's bedrooms for whatever nefarious reason?" he told a House of Lords committee.

"I can definitely tell you this technology has been used around London and elsewhere in the UK."

The death toll rises ...

Drone may have been involved in suspicious death of police horse

Police are appealing for the owner of an unmanned drone involved in an incident with one of the force's horses to come forward.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11986847/Drone-may-have-been-involved-in-suspicious-death-of-police-horse.html

10 Nov 2015

Police are seeking the owner of a drone that may have been involved in the death of a police horse.

Fimber, a 14-year-old horse who joined West Yorkshire Police in 2004, died after he vaulted the fence of his paddock and collided with a wooden post after appearing to be spooked.

Officers later discovered a radio-controlled drone at the site near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, after it was spotted by a police helicopter crew.

The owner of the Walkera Runner 250, which costs about £200, is now being sought by the force after the incident in October.

Detective Superintendent Simon Atkinson said: ''We have reviewed CCTV footage which shows Fimber bolting seemingly in reaction to something nearby. This resulted in him being seriously injured and led to his death. We cannot discount that this drone was involved.

''There is a possibility that Fimber was reacting to the drone landing nearby or being close to him when he bolted with tragic consequences.

''We know he was used to the helicopter taking off and landing nearby and by the nature of his training would be used to loud noises, which tends to suggest it was something unusual that caused him to react.

''I am very keen to hear from anyone who has any information that could assist us in tracing the owner of this drone.''

Mr Atkinson said he did not want to detract from the pleasure people get from flying drones but said flying next to such a site was totally inappropriate.

''Clearly flying one near to an operational police location such as Carr Gate, where the helicopter is regularly taking off and landing, is not appropriate and could have very serious consequences,'' he said.

''I want to appeal directly to the owner of the drone to come forward so that we can bring this matter to a conclusion.''

At the bottom of the link in my last post there is a small article titled: Is it legal to fly my drone?

Not too long ago anything was OK ... I guess if you could get it in air, it could fly ... now it has to be under 20kg ... around 44 pounds. I'm sure more changes will come and probably be needed with personal spying all the rage.

Is it legal to fly my drone?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11986847/Drone-may-have-been-involved-in-suspicious-death-of-police-horse.html

By Matt Sparkes

The answer, in short, is 'yes' - with some provisos. The CAA admits that the rules and regulations around drone use are “evolving”, but this is the state of play at the moment: drones are classified as "unmanned aircraft", and the CAA is keen to point out that they are most certainly a type of aircraft and “not toys”.

If your drone weighs over 20kg then you're out of luck - it's only legal to use it in certified "danger areas" such as Parc Aberporth aerodrome in West Wales.

Even those using a drone weighing less than 20kg for commercial use – receiving payment of any sort – are required to seek permission from the CAA.To get permission you will have to show that you are “sufficiently competent”. This is less clear-cut than manned aircraft, which has a well-established licencing procedure.

If your drone is under 20kg and you're not using it for commercial reasons, then you still have some rules to follow. Anyone filming with a drone for their own purposes must avoid flying it within 150 metres of a congested area and 50 metres of a person, vessel, vehicle or structure not under the control of the pilot. You will also need to fly the aircraft within sight. This means you can’t go above 400ft in altitude or further than 500 metres horizontally. If you want to exceed that, you’ll again need to seek explicit permission from the CAA.

Had to happen before or later.
http://phys.org/news/2016-01-chinese-drone-maker-unveils-human-carrying.html

Chinese drone maker Ehang Inc. on Wednesday unveiled what it calls the world's first drone capable of carrying a human passenger.
...
The electric-powered drone can be fully charged in two hours, carry up to 220 pounds and fly for 23 minutes at sea level, according to Ehang. The cabin fits one person and a small backpack and even has air conditioning and a reading light. With propellers folded up, it's designed to fit in a single parking spot.
...

A no-emergency-commands flying thing that can be remotely controlled.

A passenger would have no controls as a backup, he said. In the event of a problem the company plans a remote control center that would take over the vehicle and ensure it lands safely, he said.

Wait for the best part:

After setting a flight plan, passengers only need to give two commands, "take off" and "land," each controlled by a single click on a Microsoft Surface tablet, the company said

.What could possibly go wrong? :dubbio:
