DosProbie
That is a drag n drop app and context menu will not work, but you can just pin to the taskbar and extract your icons to the desktop from there. FYI, nirsoft also offers a free icon extractor (IconsExtract v1.47) and you Can do the context menu with it. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html ~DP Edited September 2, 2014 by DosProbie
jaclaz
That is a drag n drop app and context menu will not work, Why not/since when? When you drag and drop AFAIK the filename (including path) of the dragged an' dropped item is passed to the destination (like %1).http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/153292-dragndrop-with-cmd-batch/ And specifically, you can run that icon extractor from a command prompt fine with - as argument - the file (or folder containing the files) from which you want to extract the icons. What may be pointless is that the icons will go in a \icons folder in the same path as the BatchIconExtractor.exe, and you may soon have it full of "mixed" icons unless you empty it before extracting more icons. jaclaz
