If you open the nero6316.exe with Winrar click on the sfx button, then on the comment tab, there you can change the sfx contents to those below and change the xxx's to your serial:

save this, then create a batch file as follows:

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\NERO\NERO.exe /SN=xxxx-0086-0030-1319-5710-xxxx /WRITE_SN /SILENT /NOREBOOT

HOWEVER, i dont know how to change it not to install the smartstart icons or disable the smartstart cd autorun.

if anyone figures it out post it in here.

also setup.exe /? gives u the switches...

Yes, Nero installs silently. But when I immediately try a silent install of InCD afterwords, I get a "no valid serial number" error. Nero must be run first and serial number entered. THEN InCD can be installed.

Anyway around that?!
