dencorso
The latest Firefox (41.0.2) and Pale Moon (25.7.3 -- for Atom and Win XP) are currently the way to go on XP. And both accept PlainOldFavorites 1.3.1, of course!
heinoganda
@dencorsoFirst of all thanks for the info. What bothers me in Firefox the limited quality when playing videos (H264) at HTML5, maybe you can show me an easy way how to Windows XP at this H264 videos can watch in full HD. Would rather stay at the Chrome browser. @allThe missing .NET Framework 2.0 update from September 2015 (NDP20SP2-KB3074546-x86.exe) is available!http://download.windowsupdate.com/c/csa/csa/secu/2015/09/ndp20sp2-kb3074546-x86_b00e38544466254f6c7314127d2f658078c9d53a.exeThanks to blackwincat for the information on his blog. niko32
Btw, I refreshed my .NET update list: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/171814-posready-2009-updates-ported-to-windows-xp-sp3-enu/page-22#entry1103681 Thanks for the download list! It would be more convenient if you could at least mark the newly added updates with asterisk or similar sign. It would surely save me some time, for now I always found myself painstakingly going through my list of installed updates, wandering do I have all of those updates from your list installed, or not. dencorso
Thanks a lot, Bersaglio! You rock! BTW, KB3092601 (MS15-119) updates tcpip.sys to v. 5.1.2600.6935... So, those of you all using LvlLord's patcher need to patch the new file once more (yes: v2.23d still works beautifully!).

So, those of you all using LvlLord's patcher need to patch the new file once more (yes: v2.23d still works beautifully!). Thanks for the heads-up! I usually check what updates are for, but sometimes I just have no time for that. Last time tcpip.sys was updated, I didn't notice until one day I've opened Event Viewer and it was plagued with Event ID: 4226.
glnz
Gang - All OK with the Nov 10 updates? No BSODs?Per two posts immediately above, should I avoid KB3092601? (I don't know what LvlLord's patcher is and would probably not be able to figure out how to use it.) Off-topic - I have posted a different query at http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/174776-tips-on-cloning-xp-hard-drive-into-momentus-xt-hybrid-hd-ssd/Since this is a very knowledgeable group, and my new thread is also for keeping my XP machine alive, if you have a moment, please go over there and let me have your thoughts. Thanks!

pcalvert
I just applied the POSReady 2009 registry tweak and now there are 43 updates ready to be downloaded and installed. Would it be safe to go ahead and install all of them? Phil
