How would you modify the sidebar in Explorer

In WinXP, there is that sidebar on the left side that gives you options for things like creating a folder, move files to a folder, etc. Is there a way you can add or remove options from this list?? Also, just below it there are the Other Places that it shows. Most times it shows My Computer, My Documents, etc. Is there a way to modify these as well?? I can always think of different tasks or places I want to add to these.

Anyone found a way to modify the other places shortcuts in side panel in XP?

Hi i've been wondering about this myself for a long time. It would be cool to have custom locations for the Other Places part - say C:\, CD drive, Music etc.

People have resource hacked many things, but it seems this has been overlooked.
