Probably have to insert your donation key before installing AeroGlass so the symbols will download. I did them manually and its working perfect. Two questions: 1 - can I safely uninstall the Development Kit now that I have the symbols in AeroGlass directory? 2 - where do you guys get your custom themes (beside deviantart)? I found a few that I really like, but all of them have some issues (messed up jump lists, completely transparent frame of inactive windows which isn't good on black wallpaper, context menu doesn't work in Modern UI...) With the help of people on the msfn.org forum, I have been able to achieve Aeroglass on the latest Windows 8.1 Update 1. I downloaded the stand-alone file from this page http://glass8.berlios.de/download.html; the Aero Glass for Win8.1 v1.2.1 64-bit Windows file, NOT the installer. This file is called win81_x64_1.2.1.7z so you will need an appropriate extractor such as 7-Zip or WinRAR. I created an Aeroglass folder on my C-drive (C:\AeroGlass,) and placed the extracted files in it. I also created an empty folder called Symbols inside the AeroGlass folder (C:\AeroGlass\Symbols.)I then went to this site http://msdn.microsof...esktop/bg162891, and downloaded the SDK for Windows 8.1.
