Hello,

I have downloaded Adobe Reader 11 from tomasz86's Google Drive archive (link here);

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw_nt4aAJIoPOGtlWnU5MWgwd3M&tid=0Bw_nt4aAJIoPaWJsUXQ4NGdWdjQ#list

It installs great and launches, but after about 10-15 seconds after opening the program, it crashes. What should I do? I have the latest daily UURollup installed and that doesn't matter.

I've got no time to check the issue at the moment... Do you really need to use Adobe Reader? I myself prefer Foxit Reader which works fine in Windows 2000 (or SumatraPDF if you don't need more advanced functionality).

I have never really used Foxit reader, to be honest, but maybe I should try it. It seems to use WAY less disk space. The only real thing I need from Adobe is Flash, but Chrome (portable & full) plays Flash content by default. I even use Chrome on Windows 2000 myself.

For simple PDF viewing SumatraPDF is the fastest and lightest solution, but if you need more options (such as advanced printing settings) then I'd go for Foxit :) which I use myself.

Foxit used to officially support Windows 2000 but I don't know whether it still does. SumatraPDF requires the unofficial kernel to run.

I'd recommend downloading portable versions of both programs from PortableApps and trying them out yourself.
