Aero Glass ThemeAtlas

Recommended Posts

I just installed this program as I can replace the effect that gives sales that seems windows 7, I want to be like it was before, windows 8, mostly flat, without gradients.

I tried deleting the image win8cp.png but can not get re-default I do?

Note. How do I change the image win8cp.png other's in this thread?

Well personally I use a Atlas Theme Changer script that I wrote that does all the dirty work automatically and will change to any Atlas.png theme  file on the fly. but in answer to your question you probably should go to BigMuscles site @ http://www.glass8.eu/out/AeroGlassGUI.7z then download and use this tool that may work to change the theme, appearance, glass colors etc. for you.

But if I do not want to have any "Atlas" as I can get just the effect of transparency, but keep the colors and shapes of buttons that come by default with my OS (Windows 8.1)?

1.  You can clear out the registry entry in the DWM key for specifying the theme atlas.  That will cause Aero Glass not to load a theme atlas.  See his guide on his site for registry specifics.

2.  You can use Big Muscle's GUI tool to uncheck the [ ] Theme atlas image box, which has the same effect as item 1 above.

Nice, especially like how you added a highligted border in keeping with Windows 7. Will add to my Atlas changer collection.

= Custom Atlas Changer Tool  For Windows 10 and AeroGlass =

Info:

- Easily add custom atlas theme files on the fly without having to manually go into the registry or hacking system files.

- Quickly restores back to Windows default theme buttons if needed.

- Tested and fully working with "Aero Glass for Win8.1+ v1.3.1" and "Windows 10 Technical Preview".

- Install Aero Glass ==>: http://www.glass8.eu/download.html first if not already installed.

- Then download Atlas Changer Tool ==>: http://ge.tt/9qMY5xA2/v/0 (remove .txt extension after download)

Cool tool.  I know that BigMuscle's AeroGlassGUI already allows you change the atlas easily; this is cool since it's basically a theme manager.

EDIT: I got inspired by your cmd-line Atlas Manager and I whipped up a (rough) GUI version with atlas installer (atlases should be dragged onto the installer EXE to install): http://ge.tt/api/1/files/3tPfPfA2/0/blob?download
