strekship Posted March 25, 2004 Share Posted March 25, 2004 No, u do not need to wipe the files. If you run a repair install, it will keep everything intact, exept windows updates. To perform a repair install, boot from the xp cd and press enter to got to the install menu. Then, highlight the partition with windows on it and press R.
