Guest
The release threads here have disappeared. Here's one: Tool: Hide console command line window Edited September 6, 2013 by 5eraph
DosProbie
I did use those files until I discovered a MS file called "min.exe" from the Windows98 days, just add it to your batch file and copy it to your Windows or System32 and it will minimize your dos console to the taskbar while your batch is running..DP Edited September 7, 2013 by Yzöwl Microsoft file 3rd party download removed. jaclaz
If I may, something that anyone ever using batches or command line should really have on his/her system is Nirsoft Nircmd, which among the n useful features has also those needed to maximize/minimize/hoede/whatever:http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.htmlHowever the "mistery of the vanished thread" still remains. jaclaz Edited September 7, 2013 by jaclaz

Guest
Very useful, jaclaz. Thanks. Was going over a tutorial I wrote five years ago that includes the use of HideC when I discovered that the MSFN link to the its thread no longer worked... again. Guess I'll have to link to a different tool elsewhere since things have a habit of disappearing here.
