Here are the msstyles files as requested for your Theme, one is Square and one is Rounded with larger Nav matching buttons and glow buttons ported from Win 7

Enjoy! DByes.gifMy link

I got the bigger Nav buttons after reshacking a Win7 aero.msstyles and porting over to my Win8.. If anyone would like it just let me know and I can post the updated msstyles file..yes.gif

Same_Size_Buttons.jpg

In your file, a virus or a program that monitors the computer.

This oche bad.

Should check your restore points and see if you could back date it, I got a .vbs file that I use that stays on my desktop and does it automatically for me to Keep me out of

trouble. Or maybe Bigmuscle Or Orelio could add a option for a restore point

Alright, in my inadvertent lack of knowledge to how to properly use this, it has literally f'ed up my themes in Windows 8. I have no idea on how to get back to the original Win 8 theme because it doesn't apply the taskbar changes, but keeps them transparent, and no matter what theme I click, it wont go away. I had Aero 8 and Aero Glass installed. Aero 8 can't be deleted from the themes folder because Windows says it is in use. CAN ANYBODY, PLEASE HELP me in restoring my themes back to stock Windows 8? Please help, anybody...

Taskbar not switching

My theme: http://gyazo.com/a5d...2561cf9c99d980f

to

Windows 8 default theme: http://gyazo.com/414...9506ff32d0d74c9

Trying to delete Aero8: http://gyazo.com/303...6ee3b87a6eb6465

Also it does this stupid black taskbar when the program isn't being used: http://gyazo.com/c33...5faf164bd82605a

PLEASE for the love of God someone help me, BigMuscle!!!

PS this got really annoying really quick... http://gyazo.com/9cb...bec5d94804edac9

Doesn't look too bad to me... alt+tab to switch.

Restart if you haven't tried already, if you have tried already, restart and hold ctrl while it's booting, should load it without the modifications. Then uninstall.

Also you're having permission issues, use an Administrator account.

Edit: Are you trying to delete a theme? If so you're doing something VERY wrong.

There are no themes involved with this. I have no idea where you even got that from...

To uninstall properly, you'll need an admin account, the AGTweaker GUI, and then you click the X in the bottom right corner of the GUI and restart.

This is what I don't understand since the beginning. There were many posts "It does not work for me so I did system restore" but why this? AeroGlass does not perform any change into the system so there is nothing to restore. If something gets broken, it is because user modified something on his own. Yes, there is a small registry script to install the thing, but it is very short so anyone can check what is being changed, save the original registry key and restore it later.

I guess people are just jumping onto it without considering the "for experienced testers only" part. If you are not comfortable with editing the registry and system files, do NOT touch this!

System restore is way too overkill to undo a registry change, but if they messed up something theme related, it's the way to go.

I tried downloading the GUI and got this message: http://gyazo.com/5bdfe1bdf1137749bcd125066b13ed39

I had already added the values to the registry and did everything right to my knowledge of installing it. Well, that knowledge is really limited.

No ones blaming your bm for the issues, Everyone should know this is BETA again repeat BETA .. I would be willing to bet that he hacked the Uxtheme.dll file incorrectly

or changed a system with a non digital signed one. So if you dont know what you are doing then your probably get really good at installing and reinstalling your OS a lot ..biggrin.gif

Hi Big Muscle,

I'am testing your Aero Glass Since this Week (And ORelio's AGT who already do a good job)

I have tested one of the first version of DwmHook some months ago, but it gived me a Black Screen. Current Version Works Fine!

I have noticed some minors bugs already mentionned by other members: Little tracks depending on colors intensity in the Taskbar, Windows border and in some browsers when closing a tab (I see this in Chrome: the closed tab let some tracks behind). Windows Borders are not Blured when they are over IE10 (See ScreenShot).

I Use your software (V0.8 Beta2) on my Windows 8x64 with a self-made msstyle, together with UxStyle Core Beta, and Start8.

If i Find something else i will post it here but what ever, You do a very good job, Keep it up!

Files in an archive cannot access other files in the same archive. You have to extract them first.

Other control button then maybe? I haven't actually tried it myself, just a general tip that's been mentioned many times in the thread. Also make sure you're holding it when DWM loads, not (just) when Windows is booting/during the BIOS screen/etc

Could also be that you didn't install the program correctly, so it's not even what's causing the problem... broken DWM or theme perhaps.
