jaclaz, I guess we need to figure out a way to do spell-check in l337. In your post above, I think -- /\/\(U|-| -- should have been -- /\/\U(|-| -- and then there is the grammar police, and proper punctuation, and ...

Of course we could also just convert from English --> Pig Latin --> l337 --> Random Capitalization --> strip all punctuation and all line breaks --> add MANY random smilies --> post. Simple, right? :)

Cheers and Regards

Actually, and with all due respect :), the issue is not as much with the pokemonspeak, but with the actual Polish... :w00t:

Z rozentuzjazmowanego tłumu wyindywidualizował się niezidentyfikowany prestidigitator, który wyimaginował sobie samounicestwienie.

Can you translate "prestidigitator"? :w00t:;)

Actually is from Latin presti digiti (though the neologism was originated in France :thumbup ):

http://www.devoir-de-philosophie.com/dissertation-prestidigitation-88682.html

http://opensiuc.lib.siu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1831&context=ocj&sei-redir=1

It was here that Houdin became acquainted with Jules de Rovere, of noble birth, a conjurer who abandoned the title of escamoteur, as beneath his aristocratic dignity, and coined for himself the pompous cognomen, prestidigitateur, from presti digiti (activity of the fingers). The French Academy sanctioned the formation of this word, thus handing it down to posterity.

I find fun  when I can spot in a "foreign" language a single word that is clearly an "import":

prestidigitator <- English (ok not really common) http://www.websters-online-dictionary.org/definitions/prestidigitator

prestidigitateur <-French

prestidigitatore (o prestigiatore) <-Italian

prestidigitador <- Spanish

prestidigitador <- Portuguese

prestidigitator <- Romanian

Hmmm

Yes, really sorry if my link to that site has offended anyone, it was not my intention, we were just having some "generic" fun, and we mocked a little bit everyone, including the good Polish :), but absolutely no particular meaning was given to any of the post.

Just not to be accused to be partial, a (completely off-topic  ) representation of a dangerous e-mail Irish virus:

and the usual approach to work in Italy ;):
