Is it possible to partition the drive and install 8 so I have both or do I need to format the drive and lose my 7 install? Guest Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Yes you can. You need to right click the current W7 partition (in disk management) and shrink it.
