yatsura2k
Hi Tihiy -I have found a minor bug with the ex7forw8 installer. When trying to install on an en-GB localised install of Win8, the ex7forw8 installer requests the en-GB Win7 folder which does not exist for Win7. Renaming the en-US folder to en-GB allows the installation to complete, but the Win7 explorer is then unable to start until the installed en-GB folder is renamed back to en-US.Yatsura2k
Tihiy
When trying to install on an en-GB localised install of Win8, the ex7forw8 installer requests the en-GB Win7 folder which does not exist for Win7. There is no en-GB variant of windows 7? Anyway i'll provide en-US fallback.

tharford
Hey there Tihiy,I just created an account just to write this and say thanks a bunch load for this!Been looking for quite a few apps to do this, but this is just awesome!Does the job (Windows 8 Pro, 64bit) and no more tiles and I have a start button back!Do lose multiple task bars though on more than one monitor, but I can live with that. Thanks so much for this - really really awesome! Tihiy
Version 0.9http://tihiy.net/files/ex7forW8_0.9.zip- Tool: accepts en-US mui files as fallback for any language- Tool: improved open speed (does not try to patch explorer each time)- Tool: command line options (see scripting guide)- Explorer7: fixed 'Exit explorer' not unloading explorer.exe fully.Scripting guide: http://tihiy.net/files/Ex7forW8_scripting.zipTells you how to install / uninstall / patch silently. Also add a nice context menu to desktop menu to switch shells on the fly.NOTE: if you run installer from explorer7, installer will restart explorer.exe elevated which can be undesirable. So better switch back to explorer8 before upgrading. I just created an account just to write this and say thanks a bunch load for this!Thank you.
