crizz11
back in the day with windows xp updates I used to run windows update on a pc then after the download portion was complete i would grab the contents of c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\ folder. I would then take these files to another computer that had not run windows update yet and put them into C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\ on that new computer. Then you could run windows update on that new computer and it would skip through the download process very quickly as it realised it already had a copy of the update downloaded. Does this method not work anymore?thanksChris

Guest
Put them all in a folder and create a batch file with this content in the same folder...for %%a in (*.exe) do (start /wait %%a /quiet /norestart /nobackup )pauseThen run the batch file and reboot when it's done. You may or may not want the /nobackup switch.
