west117wolf
I uninstalled KB2529073 and then reinstalled. Service Pack 1 initially says it is installed and asks for restart. After the restart I get the same ole message that installation was not successful. Is this ever going to end???? West
MagicAndre1981
only remove the update, reboot and make sure it was removed correctly. Now try to install the Sp1 again. If it fails, upload all the logs again (this time with the setupapi log included)
west117wolf
The update was uninstalled and reinstalled correctly. No change. Here is the CBS file and all 3 log files:https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=9fc9019808b9a7f6

bphlpt
The update was uninstalled and reinstalled correctly.@west117wolf, If I understand, you uninstalled the kb2529073 update then reinstalled it. But if I understood Andre correctly, and I'm not sure I did, I think he meant to uninstall it and NOT reinstall it before installing SP1only remove the update, reboot and make sure it was removed correctly. Now try to install the Sp1 again. If it fails, upload all the logs again (this time with the setupapi log included)I'm sure Andre will correct me if I misunderstood.Cheers and Regards
