bizzybody Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I have a PC with a nVidia FX 5000 series AGP video card connected to a HDTV. The nVidia control panel has settings for video brightness, contrast, gamma etc.Windows Media Player completely ignores all those settings and displays all videos very dark. I have to use its own brightness setting, turned up +10. Wouldn't be a problem if WMP would keep that as a default but when a new video is opened it resets all its adjustments back to zero.Is there a fix for this?
