"Unable to install network adapters" when booting from USB

Hi,

I created a BartPE CD and it worked like a charm (I had to add LAN drivers and I also made the network make everything automatically) but when I use pe2usb to create a bootable USB with the same BartPE build, I have the following error when BartPE starts: "Unable to install network adapters".

The thing is that if I retry to Load network support manually, it works without problems. This solution is not acceptable to me because I'm dealing with a remote computer without keyboard, mouse or display.

Has anyone faced this before? Is there a workaround?

FYI, the usb boots much much faster than CD.

Thanks in advance!

If all is as you say (exactly same files used), that might be the relevant difference. Maybe introducing a short pause before network setup can solve that problem ?I must say I've had strange problems with network cards being sometime recognised sometimes not booting BartPE on the same system more times in a row. I never investigated if it was a hardware or software problem at the time.
