sameer752003
Hi, I have one DVD RW 4.5 GB. I once burned some software ( Actually I dont remenber what software) on to it and now it is not being read. I am also not able to burn any data as the writer shows "No Media Present". Is it possible to fix the DVD.
dencorso
Try reading the DVD RW in another reader before doing anything to it. Most probably your burner is broken, and using a different burner or reader to test the DVD RW will help decide where the problem really lies. tain
How long has it been since you burned the disc? Have you cleaned it with inside-to-outside motion? (twss)
Tripredacus
A few things to ask.1. Was the drive you are trying to read the disc in the same drive that had burned the disc?2. What program did you use to do the burning... is it possible that the session wasn't closed?
submix8c
A few things to ask...A single comment - the OP has opened topics and never flagged them as "Solved", only asking questions without follow-ups. Bet they won't come back to this topic...(must be a bad-mood day for me...)
myselfidem
This also often happens to me and I see most people ask the same question on different forums and when they have the right and good answer...they forget the other forums!
