after couple of system BSOD's i noticed my shortcuts got removed from start menu and under All Programs many of the system default links are gone too.

like Snipping tool,Resource monitor, sticky notes.... the files exist under windows folder.

anyway i can bring back all the default shortcuts back to All Programs>Start Menu?

thanks

Verify that you are still logging into your regular profile. If a profile is corrupted, Windows may automatically log you in using a 'TEMP' profile, in which and profile specific shortcuts may be 'missing'. The TEMP profile is built off the Default profile. An easy way to verify what type of account you are using is to open the Command Prompt (without running as administrator) and see what default folder it puts you in.

Hi give this a try just right click a blank part of the taskbar and choose properties. Click the customize button and choose restore default Icon behaviors at the bottom of the window hope this works lol.
