bookie32
Hi again Oh no I hear someone saying......LOL!Ok! Looking for info as usual. I have started a thread about using Intel or Amd for a Server possibly running Windows 7 and Linux...I have only a small 20GB SSD drive for both Windows Ultimate and Linux, but Ultimate is a bit bloated for this job...just wondered about creating a slimmed down version with RT7 Lite...The main work being done on this computer in Windows 7 is building Windows Images in VMware...I am thinking about scrapping Windows 7 and just running Linux.....but wanted to keep my options open......Lots of stuff including Windows Media Center is just excess baggage for this project...Has anyone experience with RT7 Lite and can get me going....?Thanks as always!bookie32
Kelsenellenelvian
Do you HAVE to have ultimate?Seems to me a lower version might be a better starting point.
bookie32
Hi Kelsenellenelvian Good point! I bought Ultimate to give myself all the options and now find it wont do for this project...that is why I thought about slimming it down!bookie32
bookie32
Hi again!OK! I have been looking at the work done on RT7 Lite and it is brilliant, but in this instance I am going to remove the hiber file and relocate the page file to get extra room....Thanks!bookie32
