Mcickers03 Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Sorry to dig this old post up but I have found a boxed Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit (SB0410) and it contains Win ME drivers I’ve tested on Windows 98 and is working great.

It's from Feb 2004. When you run the program it tells you it can't find a SB card. While the message is still on the screen, go into your C:\Windows\Temp folder and copy the Crf000 folder to your desktop. In there is a Drivers folder, inside that is the Win2K_XP folder- it's actually for 98SE too. I just got my Audigy LS working. I thought my card was fried, the last time i used it a few years ago. it made garble sounds but I guess it was just a driver issue. Hi i have tried this trick, but in C:\Windows\temp or any other temp folder was not this directory, i found only some random UUID directory with Creative drivers, but some inf file was missing, so i have extracted file above with 7Zip and used Windows 2k files to install, drivers installed fine, after reboot on exclamation mark.. But right from the boot there is only ugly noise from soundcard, when i try to play sound, not noise of volume is more louder.. I have tried all jack output on the card.. It seems that driver would need some tweaking.. My id is the same.
