Bad boy Warrior
I have two wireless routers. I dont get a decent signal from the main router when going to the top floor and was considering purchasing a wireless signal booster, but before going down this path, could i use two wireless routers with one connection (i.e. have one router downstairs and other on the top floor)? Thanks
Tripredacus
This is something I have yet to test out, since I am in the same boat as you. Seeing how I'm prepping for a move, I haven't the time for it. I did a little bit of reading, but the other router you need to look up how to use it as an Access Point, or as a bridge. So your main router that is connected to your internet would end up being your DHCP and work like a regular router. That was my idea at least. You may want to look into custom firmware like Tomato or DD-WRT in case those types of options are not present on the stock firmware. Anyways, its a bunch of research on your router models.
