Need an original (unmodified) Windows 95 CD-ROM Setup Boot Disk image

Recommended Posts

The July 11 1995, 9:50 AM should mean Windows 95 A.

With reference to one of the liinks I posted, most files seems like sporting this date, exceptions:

AUTOEXEC.BAT		45		MS-DOS Batch File		05/26/1999 04:45:20 PM
CD1.SYS 34,262 System file 09/26/1996 05:13:04 PM
CD2.SYS 16,504 System file 11/21/1996 01:54:00 AM
CD3.SYS 19,984 System file 08/13/1996 01:03:02 AM
CD4.SYS 41,302 System file 05/11/1998 08:01:00 PM
CONFIG.SYS 377 System file 05/29/1999 12:20:38 PM
EXTRACT.EXE 46,656 Application 10/01/1997 04:00:30 PM
MSDOS.SYS 6 System file 10/02/1997 01:53:10 AM
SCANDISK.EXE 134,738 Application 10/01/1997 04:00:30 PM

The CD*.sys files are (updated) drivers (it is a good thing)-

The autoexec.bat, config.sys and msdos.sys are "configuration files" it is quite normal that they have been modified.

The EXTRACT.EXE and SCANDISK.EXE are updated versions (it's a good thing).

WHAT is the problem? :w00t:

Cannot say what you are driving at ,however I can see where you come from :ph34r::

The problem is this: the genuine boot floppy contains the DRVCopy.inf file.

The OP sounds like a collector. The thing that surprises me is that he didn't specify the exact version of win95 or that it be in Spanish, the language of his country.

I suggest one of the OS collecting forums. I don't think the rules permit me to post a link here so I suggest googling for them.

I doubt that Win 95 A Spanish will have dates/times July 11 1995, 9:50 AM as requested.

You might have missed post # 16, he WAS there (and came here, after having hassled a bit the guys over there with no result).

Anyway, my post (#20) contains what the asked for, result of 15 minutes of googleing, let's see what happens now, maybe the fact that the floppy uses a modified DRVCOPY.INF to load TEAC_CDI.SYS will make it "counterfeited" :unsure:

Why do I keep hearing the Looney Tunes theme song?

For no apparent reason, a LOLCAT:

Yes, but I don't know why EMS Professional Software doesn't show prices for some items like MSWIN95011228.

Have you tried to contact them? I remember seeing that page over five years ago. I don't think that site has been updated since Win 95 was Microsoft's latest OS.

@5247846

Have you noticed that I provided you in post #20 a link from which to download that floppy disc image? :unsure:

Of course, should you find that it is counterfeited you don't need to thank me. :whistle:

@jaclaz

They're counterfeited and I like genuine goods.

But thanks anyway!
