mushyuk
Hi again guys (2nd post).I'm trying to set an IE8 group policy to open 2 tabs within IE when a user opens their browser, and i have a slight issue.Windows 2003 server with an IE8 ADM file used as source for the gpo.I''ve seen similar posts when googled but sadly no solution, so i'm hoping one of you guys may have an answer for me. I've created a new gpo for our IE8 users and assigned a primary homepage and a secondary homepage to open in a seperate tab. Unfortunatly when a user opens IE, it only displays the primary homepage, the 2nd tab does not open. I can however click the Home button and both primary and secondary tabs open as expected.I'm missing something and not entirly sure what, surely if both pages open correctly when i press home this should be the default action when the browser is launched, have i missed a setting someplace? Flip1001
Using this code as a login script worked for me. Just disable the IE homepage gpo if you have it set.http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2007/09/10/how-can-i-assign-multiple-home-pages-to-internet-explorer-7-0.aspx
