catsado
Hello, dudes. I have decided to update my January XP build with all the update till May. But after including them, XP is stuck at 37 minute of the install. Which of those updates i must not include to get full working install? Tnx for your help.http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/10/updatesf.jpg
submix8c
Have a look here for some fairly decent info. Can't help wit the "stuck at 37 minutes" problem. BTW, how are you creating this "build"?
catsado
Like always, using nLite.
Guest
Did you start with a fresh source or did you just add Jan to May updates to your previously made build? Please attach your last session.ini.
submix8c
As has been noted (using nLite) slipstream SP3 (if necessary) to Original (i.e. not nLited) on a 2K, XP, 2K3, or Vista (not Win7) before proceeding with the slipping of post-SP3 or failures occur. The link I provided seems fairly accurate - I've used it to clean install; after that I Add everything (Add/Remove Pgms), go to WU and nothing shows. Safest method is By Date, oldest to newest. It's been noted that only slipping the SP's seems to be the problem under Seven.
catsado
Tnx guys. Well the problem wasn't in the updates i have included. After some testing i have found that the problem was from M$ virtual PC. After installing VirtualBox by Oracle i didn't have any problem installing and testing my iso. Tnx again for your time .P.S. Topic is for locking or deleting.
