clivebuckwheat
HiI have to install some software via login script that will be running from a network share, is there a way to have the UAC interrupt the installation?. I have tried the elevate.vbs utility and the uac still pops up. We are on a Novell Network so it is quite difficult to use a group policy. Can someone offer me some other suggestions in order to get around this issue?
Tripredacus
Honestly, it is a bad practice to run vbs from a network share. Yes you can make some changes to the Local Security Policy to allow those types of things to run, but I would research into other ways to do these deployments, as opening up those settings can be a big security risk for your network.
