luckstar Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 Hi, I have sony laptop(NW 130 J/s) and set Bios password for it,unfortunately i forgot this password,now i look for software to reset Bios Password, that worked on windows 7/ 64 bit(because i install windows 7 on it)and i'm very appriciated if you explain me how to work with this software.thanx. allen2 Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 There aren't any software that would work on most recent computers.If it's still under warranty, you should contact Sony support as they might have a master password or explain to you how to remove it safely.If you don't find any other solution, you'll probably need to remove the bios battery for at least 30s without the power cord and without the battery, it usually work on most laptop. The best and easiest method: Close OS and shut down the electricity power of computer. Open your computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank. Put it back after a few minutes.So I would suggest you the 1st method. Hope it helps. Hope it helps.do you know another way except take out cmos battery? i search internet and found some command and software that clear bios password, but i don't know how they work.
